NEW Senior Accountant opportunity with a great organization in the DC area! Applicants must be in the DMV area.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the accounting and finance team to accomplish association goals
- AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, annual audit
- Support internal team members
- Assist with grant accounting functions as needed
- Explore/share ways to enhance processes to maximize efficiency within department
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
