Audit Manager

A public accounting firm based in Reston, VA is in the market for an Audit Manager for their team. This company provides audit, tax and accounting support services (transaction advisory, outsourced accounting) to industries such as nonprofit, government contracting, technology and financial services. This is a direct hire/permanent role and will need to be hybrid in office in Reston. There is an emphasis on this role for an audit professional who is comfortable engaging with clients, leading staff in engagements and enhancing the brand of firm. This can be an Audit Senior ready to become a Manager! Target salary can range from $120-$175k with bonus potential.

Duties:

• Conduct audit and assurance services for established client base
• Plan and performance audits in accordance with GAAS
• Lead and mentor staff on engagements and track performance against budget
• Review the work on the engagement team
• Be a front-facing client contact and represent the firm in a professional manner

Keys:

• Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in accounting
• 4+ years experience in public accounting
• Knowledge of GAAS and GAAP standards
• CPA license or in process candidate
• Ability to commute to Reston, VA
• Excellent people skills and comfortable being client-facing
